Audi Used Cars- A Review On Audi A6 Used Cars

Diposkan oleh techtio

Audi used cars like the A6 is a beautiful sedan; there are several versions to choose from. Audi A6’s from 1998 to 2002 base models have a 3.0-litre engine. The more expensive models that were all-wheel drive got two choices to choose from, either a V6 twin turbo or a 4.2-litre, V8 engine. In 2003 Audi did include some of its powerful ”S” high performance features to some of the different Audi A6 models. Anything to do with Audi’s “S” high performance platform is something to really look at when deciding if you’re going to by an Audi A6. All these different features and power come straight off Audi’s racing teams that race in the Lemans series.

The Audi A6 fuel statistics varies. The Audi A6 base package and the V6, twin-turbo, has a 13-litre, per 100km, for city driving and an 8.5-litre, per 100km, for highway driving. If you decide to get an Audi with the V8, it has a 13.8-litre, per 100km, for city driving and 8.8-litre, per 100km, for highway driving. The most expensive model the Audi S6 has a whopping 16-litre, per 100km, for city driving and 10.3 litres, per 100km, for highway driving.

Let’s take a look at some of the good and the bad when looking at an Audi A6 as a used vehicle to buy.

1- There are issues with a number of different electrical components in the engine.
2- When visiting various website forums on the Audi A6, I found that there owners really love this vehicle.
3- The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety organization gave an average score for frontal crash tests done to it.

Even though most A6 owners love their vehicles, they are not the most reliable car to have. My suggestion if you’re going to buy one is to try and find a previous owner who looked after it well.
